Why It's Not Too Late to Answer the Call

There's a particular kind of waiting that a lot of women do.

Not the passive kind.

The active kind.

Where you're paying attention. Where you're feeling the pull. Where you know something is calling you — and you keep finding reasons why right now isn't quite the right time.

I need to learn more first. I need to feel more settled. I need to wait until things calm down.

And so the calling waits.

And so do you.

I want to talk about that today.

Because I've walked alongside enough women in this work to know something true:

The right moment rarely announces itself.

Why we wait

Waiting feels responsible.

It feels like wisdom.

Like you're being careful with something that matters — which, of course, you are.

But there's a difference between wise discernment and indefinite postponement.

And a lot of women who feel called to healing work are living in the second one — without quite realizing it.

The signs are subtle:

  • You keep researching but never quite commit

  • You tell yourself you'll start when you feel more ready

  • You watch others step into this work and feel a mixture of inspiration and longing

  • You've been saying "someday" for longer than you'd like to admit

If any of that sounds familiar — this is for you.

What waiting costs

Waiting doesn't feel like a cost in the moment.

It feels like caution.

But over time, waiting has a weight to it.

The longer you set something aside, the harder it becomes to pick back up.

Not because you're less capable.

But because the story you tell yourself about why you're not ready gets more elaborate with every passing month.

And the distance between you and your calling grows — not because the calling has moved, but because the waiting has.

What "not too late" actually means

Answering a calling doesn't have an expiration date.

Women step into this work at every stage of life — in their late thirties, their fifties, their sixties — and find that the timing was exactly right.

Not because they waited for the perfect moment.

But because they finally decided the waiting was over.

You don't need to have arrived at a certain place in life to begin this work.

You just need to be willing to begin.

The door is still open

The fall cohort of the Intuitive Healing Certification still has space.

If you've been on the edge — if something in October's content stirred you but you haven't quite taken the step — I want you to know:

There is still time.

But not indefinitely.

If this is calling you, now is the moment.
