The Healer's Journey: Real Stories of Doubt, Trust and Purpose
There's a moment that doesn't get talked about enough.
The moment before yes.
When you're standing at the edge of something that feels true — something you've been sensing, returning to, quietly carrying — and you're not sure whether to trust it.
Maybe you've been there.
That pull toward healing work. The way you notice things others don't. The way people seem to find you when they're hurting.
And underneath all of it, a question you're almost afraid to ask:
What if I'm actually meant for this?
For many women, that question is followed immediately by doubt.
I'm not qualified. I'm not ready. What if I'm wrong?
And so the calling gets quieted. Put away. Saved for someday.
But here's what I've learned from walking alongside women in this work:
The doubt isn't a sign that you're not meant for this.
It's often a sign that you are.
What the journey actually looks like
Becoming a healer is rarely a straight line.
For most women it begins long before they have language for it.
It might look like feeling things deeply from a very young age. Being the person everyone comes to when they're struggling. Sensing the energy in a room before anyone says a word.
And then somewhere along the way — a moment of reckoning.
Do I keep ignoring this? Or do I finally say yes?
Why doubt shows up
Doubt isn't weakness.
It's often a sign of how much something matters to you.
When we feel genuinely called to something that carries real weight and real responsibility — of course we question it.
These questions don't mean no.
They mean this matters.
What becomes possible when you say yes
The women who have walked through this program didn't arrive confident.
They arrived curious.
They arrived with doubt, with questions, with a quiet hope that maybe — just maybe — this was real.
And what happened on the other side of that yes?
They found their footing. They developed their gifts. They began supporting others in ways they never imagined.
Not because they stopped doubting.
But because they learned to move forward alongside it.
This is what The Healer's Journey is about
This September I'm bringing together a group of those women to share their real stories.
Trust the Voice Within Audio Summit -Stories of Women Who Answered the Call to Heal is a free summit featuring honest conversations about what it looked like to answer the call — the fear, the doubt, the turning point, and what they're now putting out into the world.
If you've been doing the quiet work of returning to yourself — and you're starting to wonder if it's pointing somewhere — this summit was made for you.
